1.0 Thank you for visiting www.sgappliances.com.

By accessing and or using any part of the website, you shall be deemed to have accepted to be legally bound by the following agreement ("terms and conditions") of use which together with our terms and conditions of our Privacy Statement.

1.1 You should discontinue access to and the use of the website in the event that you do not agree with any of the said terms and conditions of use.

1.3 The terms 'sgappliances.com' or 'platform' or 'us' or 'we' refers to the owner ("Sg Appliances Pte Ltd") of the website which own and operate and incorporated in Singapore and having its registered no: 201633598D. The term 'you' or 'your' refers to the user or viewer of our website.

1.4 You must be at least 18 years old to place an Order from the website. By accepting these Terms and Conditions, you are representing and confirming that you are aged 18 years and above at the time the Order is placed.

 

2. DEFINITIONS

2.1 'Agreement' means (these "terms and conditions"), an agreement entered into between Sg Appliances Pte Ltd and Seller on sgappliances.com and you.

2.2 'Seller' means Sg Appliances Pte Ltd or 3rd Party Vendor or any Sellers or Merchants who sell on sgappliances.com

2.3 'You" means the person or entity whose name and address appears on an Order as the purchaser of the Product/s.

2.4 'Price' for the Product/s means the purchase price as specified in your order.

2.5 'Product/s' means the product/s in our website and product/s referred to in an order.

2.6 'Platform' means Sg Appliances Pte Ltd website at www.sgappliances.com

2.7 'Order' means and order placed by you to sgappliances.com for the purchase of the product/s.

2.8 'Order Acknolwdegement' means, in respect of an order, the email acknowledgement issued by sgappliances.com acknowledging that an order has been received by sgappliances.com prior to an Order Confirmation.

2.9 'Order Confirmation' means, in respect of an order, the email confirmation issued by sgappliances.com accepting that order includes price, and delivery charges (if necessary).

 

3. PRICE

3.1 The price payable by you through the platform for the product/s is the price specified in the order.

3.2 The price for the product/s may or may not include delivery charges. Any such charges will be stated in the "Fine Print" of the deal. If delivery charges are not included, such costs will be displayed separately and added to   the total amount due before you complete the order.

3.3 We do not guarantee that all products sold in our platform are the lowest price in the marktet. The internet gives you the opportunity to research and find the best value for your budget. We urge you to compare the products on our website with Department stores; Retail shops and to anyone else on the internet. We are confident that all of our products are priced to beat the competition.

 

4. PAYMENT

4.1 Prior to delivery of the product/s, full payment of the price is required from you.

4.2 Payment for the product/s may be made by Nets or Cash over our counter. We also accept PayNow or Bank Transfer.

 

5. ORDER

5.1 We will take and process your order. If we are unable to contact you via email after making reasonable attempts to arrange for delivery, we may give you 21 days written notice of cancellation of the order by email written notice. If you fail to make arrangements within the notice period, no refund whatsoever shall be made upon the expiry of that period.

5.2 Your receipt of an order acknowledgement from us does not represent our acceptance of your order, or a confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right to accept or decline or cancel your order (in whole or in part) for any reason. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Your order is not accepted until it is shipped.

5.3 If you receive a product that is fundamentally different in nature from the product/s specified in your order (ie: wrong product, or wrong color), we are obliged to replace with the correct product, provided the product/s which we wrongly delivered is in its original packaging and has not been used or installed.

5.4 If the model or color of the product/s is not available for delivery, we prepared to spply a model or color of equivalent or superior standard, and specify that model and any difference in price for the model change; or there is no equivalent model available and the order is therefore cancelled with immediate effect. Upon cancellation of the order under the above mentioned conditions, we shall within 14 business days refund to you any payment that may have been received by us in the manner to be advised by us.

5.5 If you accepts our offer of an alternative offer, the product/s and the price will be taken to be varied in accordance with us. If the price is not paid in accordance with the terms of the varied order, the order is thereby cancelled with immediate effect.

5.6 We reserve the right to cancel the order in the event that a product/s has been mispriced, discountined or out of stock on the platform. In which event we shall notify you within 3 days prior to an order confirmation issue to you. Upon which you may decide to change your order to another product or request a refund (for "deposit or payment made on that particular product/s") by submitting us an email notice to: info@sgappliances.com

5.7 All orders will be deemed to be irrevocable and unconditional upon transaction through the platform and we shall be entitled (but not obligated) to process such order(s) without your further consent and without any further reference or ntoice to you. Nevertheless, you may request to cancel or amend the order which we will endeavour to give effct to on a commercially reasonable effort basis. However, notwithstanding the foregoing, we are not obliged to give effect to any request to cancel or amend any order. For the avoidance of doubt, we reserve the right to decline to process or accept any order received from or through the platform in its absolute discretion.

5.8 You may cancel your order without obligation anytime before delivery arrangements are confirmed with you. Should you wish to cancel your order after delivery arrangements have been confirmed with you, we reserve the right to impose an administrative fee (20% of your total purchase plus relevant financial handling charge, if applicable) to cancel your order.

5.9 Cancellation request should be submitted by email to: info@sgappliances.com

5.10 When your cancellation request has been accepted, we will reply you a cancellation confirmation by email, and we will make a refund of your payment (less an administrative fee of 20% of your total purchase plus relevant financial handling charge, if applicable) within 14 days.

5.11 If product/s have already been dispatched, you agree that the order is not allow to cancel.

 

6. PRODUCTS

6.1 For clarification, we do not manufacture the product/s featured in our platform and you are buying the product/s from the respective manufacturer/s or its distributor/s or agent/s of the product/s through our platform. It is your responsibility to ensure that any product/s, services or information available through the platform meet your specific requirements before submitting an order. For your convenient, we have provided the distributor/s or agent/s contact and even address over "USEFUL INFORMATION" page on every products' detail page of our website. If you are a little unsure of a product, we encourage you to contact the respective product/s manufacturer/s or its distributor/s or agent/s, or even pay a visit to their respecitive showrooms as well as local department stores for product/s clarification and satisfaction purposes.

6.2 Product/s sold on the platform may vary slightly from such product information. We encourage you to read all information presented on labels, warnings and directions which accompany the goods before use.

 

7. WARRANTY

7.1 Warranty claims must be taken up directly with the product/s manufacturer/s. All warranty, or repair, or return policy or after sale service matters of the product/s featured in our platform are subjected to the respective product/s manumanufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s terms and conditions for products warranty, or rapair, or return policy or after sale service.

7.2 Neither we nor seller gives any warranty as to the quality, state, condition or fitness of the product/s. You agree and aware that the warranties with the respect to a product/s purchase through our platform come under the respective product/s manufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s warranty. We encourage you to contact the respective product/s manumanufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s to clarify the relevant terms and conditions (the "warranty type" and "warranty period" and "7 days return policy" and "exchange policy") before you decide on the purchase.

7.3 You acknowledge that you are obliged to register the warranty of the product/s you purchased through our platform with the respective manufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s.

7.4 You acknowledge according to commercial practice, the following items are not covered by manumanufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s' warranty: Bidet sprayer, Kitchen sink, Ceramic basin, glass sink, basin cabinet, mirror & mirror cabinet, glass shelf, stainless steel shelf, towel rod and hook.   

7.4 We will not entertain any requests for returns made directly at our office unless prior arrangements have been made with us.

 

8. INSTALLATION

8.1 We are not obliged to provide installation or assembly work on product/s ordered through the platform, unless otherwise stated via the platform that installation work is inclusive.

8.2 Any contacts of an installer/handy-man/electrician or contractor given or introduce to you upon your request for installation work, is under your discretion to appoint the services of the said installer/handy-man/electrician or contractor, and we shall be under no liability whatsoever for any circumstances or events or dispute arises between you and the said installer/handy-man/electrician or contractor.

 

9. DELIVERY

9.1 Subject to the availability of the product/s, we will arrange the delivery of the product/s to the location specified in the order. For the avoidance of doubt, all deliveries are in Singapore only, excluding Jurong Island, restricted areas, PSA Terminals and within Sentosa.

9.2 Product/s with free delivery service: Some product/s in our platform come with direct manufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s free delivery service. You acknowledged that each manufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s of different brands and product/s have different delivery schedules and timing. We shall contact you and inform you of their respective delivery arrangements. You shall be available to receive delivery in accordance with the delivery schedules and timing of each respective manufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s.

9.3 Product/s without free delivery service: Some product/s in our platform do not come with manufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s free delivery service. You may either choose to self-collect the product/s from our store front (Sg Appliances Pte Ltd) or request for a delivery service (delivery fee apply). If you choose to request our delivery service, we will contact you and inform you of the respective delivery arrangements.

9.4 For the purposes of clarification and or avoidance of doubt, you accept that delivery times shall be estimates only; they are not guaranteed delivery times and should not be relied upon. The delivery team will do its utmost to deliver within the time frame, there are many external factors which can cause delays. (ie: traffic, vehicle and weather conditions). You accept that no claim shall be lodged against us for late delivery and that cancellation of the order shall not be permitted by reason only of late delivery.

9.5 The legal title to the product/s will transfer to you (ie: the product/s will become your personal property) when the product/s are delivered to the delivery address provided by you. You acknowledged that product/s delivered and received from delivery by you or 3rd party received on behalf of you, have visually checked the product/s in good order and condition.

9.6 We require a signature for all deliveries, at which point responsibility for the items passes to you. If you have specified a recipient who is not you (for example your maid or contractor), then you accept that evidence of a signature by them is evidence of delivery and fulfillment by us, and transfer of responsibility has passed. If you are not present nor any of your recipient is present to accept the delivery, and requested our delivery to enter your premise with a number lock given by you or your contractor, you accept that the fulfillment of delivery is completed by us, and transfer of responsibility has passed to you.

9.7 You are to ensure that the delivery address and the receiver's name are correct as returns due to incorrect addresses will be charged and not refunded.

9.8 In the event that you are not present to accept delivery of the product/s at the delivery time on the delivery date and should a re-delivery is arranged, you will incur a fee of S$20 to S$50 (depending on the type of product/s) to have the product/s re-delivered at a new delivery time and on a new delivery date, as arranged between us and you. The re-delivery fee is payable by you prior to us re-delivering the product/s at the new delivery time on the new delivery date.

9.9 Logistic of the respective product/s manufacturer/s and its distributor/s or agent/s may charge you for additional fees should your premises be inaccessible via the lift, based on the prevailing staircase delivery charges.

 

10. GOVERNING LAW

10.1 The abovementioned terms and conditions of use shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore.
